Saint Lu in Aschaffenburg

When I stumbled upon Saint Lu in a television broadcast on “3sat” I couldn’t believe my ears and eyes. What a voice, what a performance! “Don’t Miss your own Live” is a tremendous contemporary rock song having it’s roots in the 60′s and 70′s.

I decided on the spot to shoot the band at the first opportunity I would get. And luckily the band was about to play in one of my favourit locations: the Colos-Saal in Aschaffenburg. However, far to few people showed up to wittness this intensive concert. Saint Lu put up a tight show leaving everyone in the audience behind with an open mouth and a big smile in its face.

My Nikon D700 did a pretty good job in the decent light conditions of the Colos-Saal even though correcting the white balance still left the pictures with a very yellowish touch. Once again however, it was a pleasure taking pictures while attending a great concert.
